Nominations are now being accepted for a series of awards that recognize outstanding achievement and ongoing effort in the field of HTA in Canada. These awards are a wonderful opportunity to promote the importance of HTA in Canada and recognize those who are helping to improve our health care system by making evidence a cornerstone of health technology decisions.
The Dr. Jill M. Sanders Award of Excellence in Health Technology Assessment
The Dr. Jill M. Sanders Award of Excellence in Health Technology Assessment recognizes individuals whose outstanding achievements have significantly advanced the field of HTA in Canada. More about award details and eligibility.
The Dr. Maurice McGregor Award
The Dr. Maurice McGregor Award recognizes rising stars in HTA who, as their careers develop, have the potential to be leaders in the field. More about award details and eligibility.
CADTH Anniversary Medal
Introduced in 2014 to commemorate CADTH’s 25th anniversary, the CADTH Anniversary Medal is awarded to individuals whose hard work and dedication have helped develop, support, and expand the use of HTA as a vital component of an effective health care system. More about award details and eligibility.
Award Nomination Process
Any Canadian or Canadian resident can submit a nomination. The nomination form must include the name and contact information of the nominee and a list of their accomplishments relevant to the award. Letters of support can also be provided, but are not mandatory. Please send letters of support, clearly stating the nominee’s name, to Symposium@cadth.ca.
